Who Am I?

When starting out at 17 in the fitness industry and making the step up to senior rugby player, I had little idea that there was an encompassing stigma and expectation of what a ‘fitness instructor’ and ‘rugby player’ should look and act like, and how much of a role model they should be. So much time was spent looking at my body, nutrition, lifestyle, and my weaknesses. Constant comparisons to teammates and professionals as I progressed through my senior rugby career, mustered addictive competitiveness with myself, a crippling sense of underachievement, and the inability to perform to my optimum level.

I knew I had to change or be stuck in a negative cycle of disappointment for the rest of my life.

I listened to lots of advice and visited lots of self-help pages online, everything was so confusing and overwhelming. That’s when I decided to create my own pathway of change. What followed was a re-adjustment of my identity and a decision not to settle for being average in rugby and in life. A new city, a new rugby team, and new opportunities to perform on a larger stage.

Two years on, fear of failure, lack of confidence, and limiting self-beliefs had diminished, and I was working with internationally recognised professional athletes and coaches, managing a world-class sports facility and facilitating many physical and psychological transformations.

This course provides an online platform to empower sportsmen, sportswomen, and athletes around the world to reconnect with the sports they love and develop their mindset to overcome their limiting beliefs. This, along with my passion for performance mindset, studies in sports psychology, and personal experiences, makes me the perfect coach to be your accountability and support partner in overcoming imposter syndrome, performance anxiety, underachievement, injury or trauma, allowing you to perform consistently at your very best.

Steve is certified in Sports Psychology and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and has a wealth of Strength & Conditioning qualifications, knowledge & experience. Steve has transformed 100’s clients’ lives through working in this particular niche, coaching them to perform consistently at a high level, return from the sporting wilderness, overcome career-threatening injuries and overturn limiting beliefs.

Who It Is For?

Sports Men & Sports Women, who have not achieved the desired success in their chosen sport or in life. The reasons can be any one of the below:

  • They lack confidence, self-belief, and the motivation to pursue
  • Incidents or traumas in the past that are making them fearful to pursue and succeed
  • Believe that they do not belong to or deserve to be, part of their chosen sport and relevant communities

Through this module, you will learn how to overcome past trauma, identify your strengths as a sportsman/woman and regain control of your self-confidence to perform at your desired level.
